German Consul General Michael Hasper and his team met with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad today to discuss the opening of Deutsche Börse’s Global Capability Centre (GCC). This new center aims to expand Deutsche Börse’s presence and will bring around 1,000 IT jobs to the city over the next two years.
CM Reddy thanked the German team for choosing Hyderabad for their new center. He encouraged more investments in the area and promised full support from the Telangana government for their business projects.
The Chief Minister invited the German team to help make Hyderabad a hub of innovation. He suggested bringing German teachers to the city to teach the language, strengthening educational connections. Reddy showed interest in partnering with Germany in the IT, pharmaceutical, and automotive sectors.
He also proposed working together on vocational education and skill development through TOMCOM, highlighting the importance of building a skilled workforce. The meeting included Deutsche Börse’s Chief Information Officer/Chief Operating Officer Amita Desai and Dr. Christoph Bohm.
