    Justice Ghose Commission Prepares Report on Kaleshwaram Barrages

    The Justice Ghose Commission has created a 200-page preliminary report on the Kaleshwaram project, focusing on the damage to the Medigadda and two other barrages. The Commission is expected to submit its final report to the government by March this year.

    According to official sources, the investigation into alleged financial irregularities in the construction of the Kaleshwaram project is nearing completion. The Commission plans to summon former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) and former minister T Harish Rao for questioning in March as part of its final probe.

    The preliminary report, which spans 208 pages, will be reviewed again before the final version is prepared. The Commission aims to finish questioning additional officials and representatives from the contract agency by the end of February. Sources also revealed that the Commission is planning to question KCR directly in March regarding decisions made during the project.

    As part of the inquiry, engineers and officials connected to the Kaleshwaram project have reportedly admitted that decisions were made under the directives of the former Chief Minister. So far, the Commission has questioned engineers, IAS officers, and project designers, recording their statements for the investigation.

    The Commission Chairman is committed to completing the investigation and submitting the final report to the government by the end of March.
