Hanumakonda: Danasari Anasuya Seethakka, the State Minister for Panchayat Raj, announced plans to enhance education for children in Guttikoya villages and improve facilities in government schools.
On Sunday, she opened a new school in Thogu village, Tadwai mandal, alongside District Collector Divakar TS, Additional Collector (Revenue) Ch Mahender, Library Corporation Chairman Ravi Chander, Market Committee Chairperson Rega Kalyani, and Chakravarthi Hospital Managing Director Tharun Reddy.
The minister emphasized the importance of eliminating illiteracy through education, saying it can transform children’s lives. She acknowledged challenges due to the area’s protected forest status, which complicates permission processes.
She commended Santosh from the People Helping Center NGO for his dedication since the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. His efforts focus on educating children in forest regions. Chakravarthi Hospital management previously built a school in Takkalapadu and recently completed another in Guttikoya‘s Togu hamlet, which she found rewarding.
The minister praised the NGO’s support, highlighting that education is a basic right and noting the significant role NGOs play in providing infrastructure and education in tribal areas.
