Hyderabad is gearing up for local body elections. The State Government is quickly preparing, with officials like District Collectors, ZP CEOs, District Panchayat Raj Officers (DPOs), RDOs, and DRDO officials holding meetings across districts. They reviewed the 42% BC quota in all Gram Panchayat Wards and Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies (MPTCs) on Tuesday.

District officials collected important data, which will be sent to the Panchayat Raj Department. Once the BC Welfare Department releases an order on the BC quota, the Panchayat Raj wing will suggest that the State Election Commission issue an election notification.

Sources indicate that the Panchayat Raj department has finalized the BC quota for all panchayats and Mandal Parishads. Collectors analyzed reservations at various levels, using the caste survey report for guidance.
