    Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is focusing on improving roads, bridges, and skyways in Hyderabad, especially within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits.

    He has directed officials from the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) and GHMC to speed up the construction of a bridge over Mir Alam Tank. He also made suggestions to widen roads in the city to ease traffic.

    During a high-level meeting, the Chief Minister, who also handles the MA and UD portfolio, instructed officials to submit a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Mir Alam Tank bridge within 90 days. He set a deadline of 30 months for the bridge’s completion.

    Revanth Reddy stated that the bridge will become a major tourist attraction, especially for children. Officials informed him that three different proposals have been made for the construction of the 2.425 km-long bridge. He also advised them to study planned flyovers in Hyderabad carefully.

    Regarding road widening in Greater Hyderabad, the Chief Minister asked officials to gather complete information and present it within two days.
