Rizwan Basha Shaik is now the Municipal Commissioner of Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC). He took over from P Pravinya, who was the acting commissioner. Before this role, Shaik was the Additional Collector (Local Bodies) in Adilabad District. He has also worked in other districts in various positions. During his time in Adilabad, the district won two national awards for its development work.
After starting his new job, Shaik asked officials to provide him with updated information about the different departments. He plans to review each department’s progress. He also met with Warangal district collector P Pravinya to discuss ongoing development work in the city. Pravinya previously held the Commissioner post before being promoted to Warangal district collector.
Shaik has received greetings from various officials, including GWMC Additional Commissioner Anis ur Rasheed and CMHO Dr Rajesh.
