Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation Commissioner, T Vinay Krishna Reddy, has set strict rules for haleem bhatti operators. He insists that haleem must only be cooked on the ground floor to keep people safe.
On Wednesday, the Commissioner held a meeting with operators at the Uppal Circle Office. He stressed the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in haleem preparation.
Officials were told to enforce safety measures to avoid accidents due to the high heat from the bhattis. Operators must buy meat only from government-approved slaughterhouses.
To avoid traffic and parking problems near haleem outlets, operators were instructed to have someone manage vehicle parking. The meeting included Zonal Commissioners, the Additional Commissioner (Sanitation), Deputy Director (Veterinary), Deputy Commissioners, and haleem bhatti administrators.
