The Handloom India Expo 2025 was inaugurated at Kalinga Cultural Hall, Banjara Hills, by socialite Ananya A Simlai. The event is organized by Jagdishwar Hastkala and will run for 10 days.
The exhibition features a special collection of handmade cotton, silk wear, and handloom saris. Ananya A Simlai highlighted the importance of such events in supporting artisans and helping women access authentic handloom fashion.
Organizer Jayesh Kumar explained that the goal of the expo is to connect weavers directly with customers, ensuring fair trade and affordable pricing.
The event is open daily from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM until March 27, 2025. Visitors can explore and appreciate India’s rich weaving heritage at this unique exhibition.
