Hyderabad: T Harish Rao, a senior leader from the BRS, urged minority voters to reject the Congress in the upcoming election. He accused Congress of betraying the Muslim community and destroying a mosque and dargah in Kodangal.
Rao participated in the ‘Baki Card’ distribution in the Jubilee Hills area. During the event, he criticized Congress for failing to fulfill promises made 22 months ago with their Guarantee Cards. He stressed that losing in Jubilee Hills won’t affect Revanth Reddy’s government, but if the community wants benefits like Rs 2,500 for women, Rs 4,000 for seniors, new jobs, and student fee reimbursements, they must defeat Congress.
He reminded voters of the six guarantees Congress promised within 100 days, urging them to hold Congress accountable for their unmet promises. Rao warned that voting for Congress again would let them continue deceiving the public.
He emphasized that voting for a deceitful party harms the community. Rao criticized Congress for using money and police influence to win votes. He urged voters not to be swayed by cash or liquor and to reject Revanth Reddy’s bribes. Rao praised Gopinath Garu’s dedication and encouraged support for Sunitha, the BRS candidate, to ensure relief for struggling women in Jubilee Hills. Electing Sunitha, he said, would honor Gopinath’s legacy.
