HCSC to hold Traffic Summit 2025 on September 18-19

Hyderabad is set to host a significant event focused on road safety and responsible commuting. The Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC) is organizing a two-day Traffic Summit 2025 at Jal Vihar, Necklace Road on September 18th and 19th.

The summit’s logo was revealed by Joel Davis, Joint Commissioner (Traffic) and Convenor of the Traffic Forum at HCSC, alongside V Rajashekar Reddy, Joint Secretary, Traffic Forum, HCSC, as well as other notable guests. Key topics include safe cities, sustainable transport, inclusive mobility, road safety design, technology, future mobility, and public engagement in governance.

The event begins at 10 a.m. each day, and attendees must register in advance. The summit will feature policy discussions, workshops, entertainment, exhibits, training sessions, food courts, and merchandise stalls.

Joel Davis emphasized that the Traffic Summit 2025 aims to enhance safe, efficient, and inclusive travel in Hyderabad. By bringing together policymakers, enforcement agencies, community leaders, and NGOs, the event seeks to foster meaningful dialogue and sustainable actions.

Rajashekar Reddy highlighted the summit’s focus on important themes like sustainable transport and public participation in governance. He envisions Hyderabad as a model city for road safety and smart mobility, proposing new policy initiatives to improve the city’s traffic, especially focusing on first and last mile connectivity.
