HMDA officials have appealed to landowners for cooperation in the construction of a radial road and other link roads from Manikonda to Puppalaguda and on to MGIT College. They made the appeal on Wednesday during a meeting with the displaced people who are losing their lands for the project.

HMDA Joint Commissioner Chandrakala, Gandipet Tehsildar Srinivas Reddy and HMDA DE Pawan held the meeting. The officials explained the plan for the road works to the affected residents and sought their support.

The officials said owners who lose their structures will receive four times TDR (Transferable Development Rights) as compensation. The assurance was given to those whose buildings fall within the road alignment.
