The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) recently took action against illegal structures in Shamshabad. The HMDA demolished a large number of temporary structures that were erected illegally on government land, which covered an area of 50 acres. According to senior HMDA officials, unknown individuals attempted to encroach on the government land in Shamshabad by raising the temporary structures.

To address the issue, the HMDA sought the assistance of the Cyberabad police and deployed heavy machinery (JCB) to demolish all the encroachments.
