Hoardings displaying ‘Parivar welcomes you Modi Ji’ have been erected in Hyderabad, welcoming the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The hoardings have been put up by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party, which is led by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. The hoardings have been put up in different parts of the city, including at the Hyderabad airport and at various important junctions. This move has sparked a lot of controversy, with many people questioning the motive behind it.

The hoardings have been put up in anticipation of the Prime Minister’s visit to Hyderabad on December 24th, where he is scheduled to inaugurate the Hyderabad Metro Rail project. The TRS party has been in power in Telangana since 2014 and has been a strong supporter of the Prime Minister’s policies. The party has often been criticized for its closeness to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its alleged neglect of the state’s interests.

Many people have criticized the hoardings, calling them sycophantic and an attempt to appease the ruling party. They have also questioned the use of public money for such displays. However, the TRS party has defended its move, stating that it is a way of showing respect and gratitude to the Prime Minister. They have also pointed out that similar displays were put up during the visits of other dignitaries, including former US President Barack Obama.

In conclusion, the hoardings displaying ‘Parivar welcomes you Modi Ji’ have caused a lot of controversy in Hyderabad. While some see it as a gesture of respect and gratitude towards the Prime Minister, others view it as sycophancy and an attempt to appease the ruling party. Regardless of one’s opinion, it is clear that this move has sparked a lot of debate and raised questions about the use of public money for such displays.
