In Hyderabad, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy criticized the previous government’s policies and suggested BRS working president K T Rama Rao go on a fast-until-death to secure funds from the Centre. The CM laid the foundation stone for the Rajiv Rahadari Elevated Corridor at TIMS, Alwal, in Secunderabad and stated that the State government had obtained permission from the Centre.

Revanth Reddy urged KTR to start a hunger strike at Indira Park for Hyderabad’s development and continue until the State receives funds or he sacrifices his life. He also questioned KTR’s past struggles and achievements. The construction of the elevated corridor is expected to ease traffic congestion in various stretches.

The CM highlighted that the project had been delayed due to disagreements between the Centre and State governments during the previous administration. After coming to power, his government resolved the issues by coordinating with Union government officials. The development of Medchal area is expected to accelerate once the corridor is completed.
