Hyderabad recently hosted a special event for National Vascular Day. KIMS-Sunshine Hospitals organized a walk-a-thon called “Walk a Mile to Live with a Smile” in Begumpet.

The walk started at Sanjeevaiah Park. Actor Rajiv Kanakala kicked off the event, which attracted many enthusiastic participants. People of all ages, including young women, men, medical students, and doctors, joined in the activities.

Doctors at the event shared a worrying fact: around 25,000 people in India lose limbs every year due to vascular diseases. This issue is especially common among those with diabetes.
