Hyderabad: Starting January 15, the Hyderabad Traffic Police will impose a one-month traffic restriction due to the construction of an elevated corridor from Malakpet Fire Station to Yadagiri Theatre.
One side of the Saidabad Y Junction–IS Sadan road, heading towards Dobhighat, will be closed. Commuters should avoid the stretch between Nalgonda X Road and Owaisi Hospital (DMRL Junction) as heavy traffic is expected.
Traffic diversions have been set up for different vehicles. Four-wheelers, RTC buses, and heavy vehicles coming from Nalgonda X Road to Saidabad Y Junction and heading to Santosh Nagar and IS Sadan must take an alternative route. They will go via DCP South East Zone Office, Saidabad Law & Order Police Station, Saraswathi Nagar Kaman, Sankeswar Bazar, Indian Petrol Bunk, Singareni Colony, and Champapet, and then make a U-turn at Champapet X Road towards IS Sadan.
Two- and three-wheelers coming from Chanchalguda to IS Sadan will be rerouted at Saidabad Y Junction through Saidabad Law & Order Police Station, 105 Bus Stop, Ramalayam Kaman, Laxmi Nagar, Biscuit Factory, and Dobhighat Junction.
Similarly, two- and three-wheelers traveling from Chanchalguda to Champapet will follow a path via Saidabad Law & Order Police Station, 105 Bus Stop, Ramalayam Kaman, Laxmi Nagar, Vinay Nagar, Bharath Garden, and continue to IS Sadan and Champapet Main Road.
RTC buses from Chaderghat to IS Sadan and Champapet will take a diverted route through Malakpet Gunj, Moosarambagh X Road, Gaddiannaram, Shiva Ganga Theatre, Hanifiya Mosque, Indian Oil Petrol Bunk, Singareni Colony, and Champapet Main Road.
TGSRTC buses and heavy vehicles between MGBS and Chaderghat going to IS Sadan and Champapet will be diverted through Malakpet Gunj, Moosarambagh, Dilsukhnagar, Kothapet, and LB Nagar Chowrasta.
