Hyderabad: The Rachakonda police carried out a raid at Wild Heart Pub in Chaitanyapuri and arrested 17 people. Those arrested include a DJ and 16 women dancers.
The police said the pub was involved in illegal activities. The management had arranged dance performances by women to attract more customers.
During the investigation, police found that all the dancers were from Mumbai and were brought in by the pub’s management.
A case has been registered under sections 296, 223, 299, and 318 (4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
