Hyderabad: Ronald Rose instructs officials to develop sanitation action plan at ward level

The Commissioner of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Ronald Rose, has instructed officials to create a plan for sanitation at the ward level within one week. This directive was given after the Commissioner inspected the works of SNDP and a multi-purpose function hall in the Secunderabad zonal area. During the inspection, the Commissioner discussed sanitation with the Additional Commissioner of Sanitation, the Zonal Commissioner, DCs, and AMHOs at the Secunderabad Zonal office.

The Commissioner emphasized that the ward-level sanitation plan should cover all aspects, from basic cleanliness to waste disposal. In addition to garbage collection, the plan should also address construction waste, sweeping, lifting, and transport. The Commissioner also mentioned that a plan had been devised for door-to-door garbage collection. During the inspection, the Commissioner also visited SNDP on Minister Road at Karachi Bakery, Dhaniyala Gutta Graveyard, PatiGadda multi-purpose function hall, and Bansilalpet stepwell.

During these visits, the Commissioner was accompanied by Secunderabad Zonal Commissioner Ravi Kiran, Deputy Commissioners, AM HOs, and others.
