HYDRAA (Hyderabad Road Development Authority) has started tearing down illegal buildings in Injapur, which falls under the Vanasthalipuram area. One of the main targets is the Scoops Ice Cream Company, which built on public land and blocked an important road. This road connects to several residential neighborhoods.

Local people from colonies like Srirangapuram, Sundarayya, Apple, Lakshmi Nagar, and Indiramma had complained that a wall built by the company was causing traffic problems. After checking the area, HYDRAA found that the wall was indeed built illegally across Survey Numbers 213, 214, 215, and 216 in Turkayanjal Municipality. This led to the decision to take the wall down.

At the same time, more demolitions are taking place in Hafizpet, which is part of the Miyapur area. Near the Kondapur RTA office, HYDRAA is removing buildings on a disputed 39-acre plot listed under Survey Number 79. One of the buildings being demolished is a new office called Vasantha House, along with several large sheds.

Due to the land dispute, the demolition is happening under tight police security. Heavy machinery like JCBs is being used to break down fences and buildings on the property.
