Indian Navy Joins YogaAndhra with Over 11,000 Participants

Hyderabad: The Eastern Naval Command will join YogaAndhra-2025, a key project by the Ministry of Ayush and the Andhra Pradesh State Government, celebrating the International Day of Yoga in Visakhapatnam.

On Friday, a defense statement highlighted that more than 11,000 naval personnel and their families will attend a large yoga session. This event, showing unity with Vizag citizens and support for holistic health, will be led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Participants from the navy will gather in about 10 enclosures along the 30-km RK Beach. At the same time, yoga will also be practiced on Indian Naval ships near Visakhapatnam.

The impressive fleet includes major Eastern Fleet ships and two Coast Guard Offshore Patrol Vessels, positioned at the Visakhapatnam anchorage by the beach.

These ships, highlighted against the Vizag skyline, symbolize the Indian Navy’s dedication to the national theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.”
