In Wanaparthy district, a long-cherished dream has come true for many. Under Indiramma’s initiative, several families now have their own homes.
The new homeowners expressed immense happiness. For years, they hoped for a place to call their own. Now, with the completion of these homes, their dreams have become reality.
Recently, MLA Thudi Megha Reddy attended a housewarming ceremony in Chirkapalli Gandhinagar Colony, Edula Mandal. The house, built by Devari Renuka with her own funds, was a testament to this progress.
At the event, MLA Megha Reddy gifted new clothes to those who built their homes. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA highlighted the struggles of the homeless poor over the past decade.
Under the current Congress government, efforts are underway to ensure every homeless person receives a house worth five lakh rupees. The goal is to construct 3,500 Indiramma houses across the Wanaparthy constituency, with plans for an additional 2,000 homes for eligible families.
In the next three years, the MLA assured that every deserving individual will be granted an Indiramma house, solving housing issues and realizing dreams.
The event saw the participation of several notable figures, including Gopalpet Joint Mandal Congress Party In-charge Satyasila Reddy, Single Window Chairman Raghu Yadav, District SC Cell Chairman Konki Venkatesh, and many other Congress leaders and party members.
