Postal Official Stresses Importance of Life Insurance in Nagarkurnool
Nagarkurnool: Postal Division Superintendent Bhoomanna has highlighted the importance of life insurance for everyone in today’s world.
On Saturday, he visited postal accident insurance policy collection centers in Nagarkurnool district headquarters to assess the progress of the initiative.
Earlier, Nagarkurnool MPDO Koteswar inaugurated the postal insurance centers. Speaking at the event, Bhoomanna explained that people can get high insurance coverage with a small investment.
He shared that by paying just Rs. 1,000 per year, a person can receive accident insurance coverage of Rs. 15 lakh.
Bhoomanna encouraged rural postal staff to promote postal accident insurance among gram panchayat workers, employment scheme laborers, Anganwadi workers, and young people in villages.
Several postal staff members, including SPM Ghaffar, Mohammed Khan, and Jagan, attended the program.
