    The temple EO of Alampur Jogulamba temples, Purandhar, announced in a press meet that all the preparations for the Sharan Navaratri celebrations have been completed. This is the only Shakti Peeta in Telangana, and people from neighboring states like Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra will also come to visit the goddess from tomorrow onwards.

    During these nine days, the Goddess Jogulamba will appear to the devotees in different adornments. The rituals will begin on October 15th with Ganesha Pooja, Punahavachana, and Yagashala pravesha. The Dasahora celebrations will officially start on Sunday.

    The marriage ceremony of Goddess Jogulamba and Bala brahmeswara (Kalyanotsavam) will take place on October 20th. On the 22nd, the Chariot ceremony (Rathotsava) will be held along with a temple fair.

    The entire state will celebrate Dussehra (Vijaya dashami) on October 24th. On the same day, Nadi harati will be performed in the morning, and Teppotsavam (Boating ceremony) will be held at night on the banks of Tunga Bhadra river. The festivities will conclude with the lowering of the flag. The temple EO, Purandar, assures that all arrangements have been made for the devotees.
