The GHMC has been permitted to place the revised proposals for both packages before EPC Committee-III. The existing project management consultants for Packages 1 and 2 will continue to provide their services.

Plans for a two-lane unidirectional flyover at NFCL Junction and a two-lane unidirectional underpass and three-lane unidirectional flyover at TV9 Junction have been cancelled. The letter of acceptance issued to KNR Constructions Ltd. will be revoked, and the company’s tender deposits will be refunded.

The government has ratified the GHMC’s design changes and its move to proceed with the revised Package 1 scope and the revised scope and site for Package 2. The ratification is pending formal approval of the proposals, which the GHMC has been allowed to submit to EPC Committee-III.
