    Gadwal: Students Encouraged to Embrace Modern Technology

    District Collector BM Santosh urged students to improve their knowledge and skills in modern technology, drawing inspiration from former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Speaking at the Kalam Inspirational Tour held at the Indoor Stadium grounds on Thursday, he emphasized the importance of scientific thinking and innovation for achieving Kalam’s dream of a technologically advanced India.

    The event was organized to raise awareness about science and technology among school students. As the chief guest, the Collector shared his own educational background, noting that both he and ISRO scientists had studied in government schools before achieving success. He encouraged students to focus on emerging fields like robotics, 3D printing, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and machine learning. Platforms like the Flo Bus, which provides hands-on experience in these technologies, were highlighted as valuable resources for learning.

    The Collector explained how robotics is becoming an integral part of everyday life and praised the initiative of bringing advanced technology directly to students. He encouraged them to pursue careers in science and technology, aligning with Dr. Kalam’s vision for the nation. Alongside local MLA Bandla Krishnamohan Reddy, the Collector explored the Flo Bus exhibits, which showcased various innovations designed to benefit students.

    MLA Bandla Krishnamohan Reddy also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of technology in today’s competitive world. He encouraged students to contribute to the nation’s progress by embracing scientific advancements, echoing Dr. Kalam’s vision. The Flo Bus featured 16 technological exhibits, providing students with hands-on learning opportunities and fostering curiosity about modern innovations.

    The MLA highlighted how technological advancements, such as a single computer performing tasks once handled by 100 people, have revolutionized the world. He called for more such initiatives across all districts in the state and applauded the organizers for their efforts in inspiring young minds.

    The event also saw participation from District Youth Welfare Officer Jitender, local representatives, teachers, and Kalam Inspirational Tour CEO Madhulash Babu. The dignitaries were honored by the organizers during the program, making the event a memorable experience for all attendees.
