Chirala MLA Karanam Balaram criticized Chandrababu Naidu for being a dishonest leader who always betrayed the people. Balaram expressed his frustration with Naidu’s comments against him at a public event, calling Naidu a villain during a media interaction the next day.

Balaram challenged Naidu to meet face-to-face and visit his office to discuss their differences. He also clarified that he did not ask for the TDP’s ticket in the 2019 elections and believed he won based on support from all sections of society, not just Naidu’s backing.

Balaram denied that Naidu helped him win the election, pointing out that Naidu couldn’t even secure a victory for his son in another constituency. Balaram emphasized that his success in the recent elections was due to his own abilities, not Naidu’s support.
