The police have filed a case against BRS Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy for breaking laws related to the BNS Act. The situation arose during a meeting where Kaushik Reddy discussed education sector issues with teachers and officials in the Huzurabad constituency. MEOs who were at the meeting were moved to the DEO, leading the MLA to protest for the DEO’s immediate suspension.

Tensions rose between Kaushik Reddy and BRS ZPTC Ravinder, who recently joined the Congress, resulting in a heated argument with personal insults exchanged. The chaos prompted Collector Pamela Satpathy to abruptly leave the meeting.

The disruptive behavior at the Zilla Parishad Plenary Meeting has raised concerns about the conduct of public representatives and their impact on governance.
