The additional collector, Cheerla Srinivas Sagar, paid tribute to the great Telangana poet Kaloji on his 109th birth anniversary. Kaloji Narayan Rao was a legendary poet who inspired the people of Telangana to participate in the first phase of the Telangana movement through his poems in Telangana slang. In honor of his contribution, the Telangana state government has decided to celebrate his birthday as Telangana Language Day.
Kaloji believed that powerful words are sharper than swords and that one doesn’t need weapons to win a war. His life serves as an inspiration for all. The district public relations officer, Chennamma, AO Bhadrappa, Srinivasulu, Raghu, Sekhar, Shafi, and others also participated in the morning tribute.
