Kalvakuntla Kavitha, President of Telangana Jagruthi, expressed her intent to address those responsible for her separation from her family. On Sunday, she announced that Chintamadaka, a village in Siddipet, will become her significant focus in the future.
During the Bathukamma Festival in her father K Chandrashekar Rao’s hometown, Kavitha criticized some party leaders for tarnishing KCR’s reputation, likening him to the moon, or ‘Chandrudu’. She warned that those treating Chintamadaka as their possession would face consequences. Kavitha emphasized her determination to visit the village frequently, regardless of imposed restrictions.
Kavitha appreciated the villagers’ invitation to participate in Bathukamma, especially during a challenging time when she felt distant from her family. She reminisced about missing her family during her marriage and expressed her unwavering support for her parents. Kavitha vowed to confront those who attempted to divide her family.
Reflecting on her past, Kavitha recalled celebrating festivals in Chintamadaka, embracing all communities. She recounted her involvement in the Telangana movement, carrying Bathukamma across many villages, demonstrating strength and unity.
Kavitha reaffirmed her commitment to returning to Chintamadaka and Siddipet frequently. She declared her intent to challenge those who view the village as their personal domain, urging the villagers to support her in this endeavor.
