Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has pledged his full support to the family of late Cantonment MLA G Sayanna. He considers Sayanna’s family to be like his own and has promised to provide them with any assistance they may need.
During the Telangana Assembly’s fifth meeting of the Eighteenth Session, the Chief Minister expressed the importance of having a family involved in active politics. He mentioned that Sayanna’s daughter, G Lasya Nanditha, has been a Corporator twice, highlighting their political history. He assured that the family would receive the support they require.
KCR described Sayanna as a compassionate and non-controversial individual who came from an underprivileged background. As a five-time MLA, Sayanna always had a deep love and sympathy for the poor. The Assembly observed a two-minute silence following a unanimous resolution in honor of Sayanna.
The condolence motion received support from AIMIM MLA Pasha Quadri, Ministers Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Ch Malla Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, BJP MLA M Raghunandan Rao, and MLAs Mutta Gopal and Danam Nagender.
