Rajya Sabha member MP Vaddiraju Ravichandra attended the inauguration of a solar power plant at the new collectorate in Khammam on Saturday. He praised Chief Minister K Chandrsekhar Rao for his services and highlighted that Telangana is the only state in the country to provide 24-hour free electricity to agriculture and farmers. MP Ravichandra also mentioned that the state has overcome difficulties in areas such as electricity, drinking water, and irrigation water due to the vision of Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao.
Additionally, Ravichandra commended KCR for making agriculture a festival in the new state after achieving Swarashtra. He also congratulated Collector Gautham for establishing a solar power plant and making it the country’s first Green Building Collectorate.
After the event, MP Ravichandra was felicitated by Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar. The event was attended by Collector VP Gautham, Chairman of Stambhadri Urban Development Corporation (Suda) Bachu Vijay Kumar, and President of BRS Khammam City Branch Pagadala Nagaraju.
