    Kishan Writes Letter to CM KCR Requesting 10 Acres of Land for Sangeet Natak Akademi in Hyderabad

    The Sangeet Natak Akademi is an institution that has been promoting Indian classical music, dance, and theatre for over 60 years. It is the premier national academy of music, dance, and drama in India, and it is headquartered in New Delhi. The academy has regional centers in different parts of the country, including Hyderabad.

    Recently, Kishan, the chairman of the Sangeet Natak Akademi in Hyderabad, wrote a letter to the Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), requesting 10 acres of land for the academy’s expansion. In his letter, Kishan explained that the academy has been functioning in a rented building for the past 20 years and that it needs a permanent space to carry out its activities.

    Kishan also pointed out that the academy has been receiving a lot of support from the Telangana government, and that the state has been promoting art and culture in a big way. He mentioned that the government had recently allocated funds for the renovation of the academy’s building and that this had greatly improved its facilities.

    However, Kishan emphasized that a permanent space was needed to fully realize the academy’s potential. He explained that the academy had been conducting several programs and workshops throughout the year, and that it required a larger space to accommodate more participants. He also mentioned that the academy had plans to set up a library, a museum, and an archive of Indian classical music and dance, which would require additional space.

    In his letter, Kishan requested the Chief Minister to provide 10 acres of land in Hyderabad for the academy’s expansion. He pointed out that this would not only benefit the academy but also promote art and culture in Telangana. Kishan also expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for his support and encouragement towards the academy’s activities.

    The Sangeet Natak Akademi has played a crucial role in promoting Indian classical music, dance, and theatre over the years.
