In Warangal, the Konda couple, Surekha and Muralidhar Rao, are known as a powerful team. Surekha focuses on campaigning while Murali handles poll management. Surekha’s membership in the Padmashali community and Murali’s affiliation with the Munnuru Kapu community, along with the Vysyas, who are a significant voting bloc in the constituency, work in their favor.
The backing of Gunda Prakash Rao, who belongs to the Vysya community, is an added advantage for Surekha. Additionally, the Kondas enjoy support from the Muslim and Christian communities. Gunda Prakash Rao stated that if Surekha wins the election, development for the Warangal East constituency is on the horizon.
