Hyderabad: K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), the working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take quick action on the Kanch Gachibowli land issue. He used social media platform X to make his appeal, asking for a speedy investigation by central agencies.
KTR pointed to Congress leader and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, claiming he was involved in illegal activities related to the land. KTR said that the matter should not be ignored and hoped the Prime Minister’s recent speech on the issue would lead to real action.
In a message written in Telugu, KTR questioned why Revanth Reddy has not spoken about the issue while so much has happened. He added that blaming government officials alone is not acceptable and asked the central BJP government to take the matter seriously and investigate it immediately.
The comments come as political tensions grow around alleged land scams in the Kanch Gachibowli area. The BRS is pushing for justice and accountability, increasing pressure on the Congress-led state government in Telangana.
