    K. T. Rama Rao, the Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development, launched a new eye hospital in Hyderabad on Monday. The hospital, named after his father, Telangana Rashtra Samithi founder K. Chandrashekar Rao, will provide free eye care to the poor and underprivileged. The hospital will have state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, including a laser machine for cataract surgery. The hospital will also provide training to ophthalmologists and optometrists to improve eye care in the state.

    The launch of the KCR Eye Hospital comes at a time when the Telangana government is facing criticism for imposing heavy taxes on petrol and diesel. However, KTR has promised that there will be no life or transport taxes in the state.
