Dr. K Laxman, the national president of the BJP OBC Morcha and MP, has stated that terror activities pose a threat to the security of both the country and Telangana. He believes that the state government should act with an iron fist to eliminate political interests and focus on countering terrorism. According to Laxman, both the Congress and BRS governments are not serious about handling political interests and are more interested in appeasing Majlis. Whenever terror activities take place in the country, their links surface in Hyderabad.

Laxman also criticized the state government for not giving the police a free hand to act tough in countering terror activities. He expressed concern over facilitating and settling Rohingyas in Hyderabad and other areas of Telangana, which poses a threat to the country’s as well as Telangana’s security.

Responding to the exit polls for the Karnataka Assembly, Laxman said that the revolutionary decisions taken by former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and current Chief Minister Basavaraj Somappa Bommai, who gave equal importance to development, welfare, and the delivery of social justice to SCs, STs, and BCs, will get people’s support. The BJP will come back to power in Karnataka.

On the home front, Laxman criticized the Telangana state government for being inactive. He said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is busy with politics and has left governance to the winds. The CM has no time to review while the farmers’ lives are in the doldrums due to crop damages caused by unseasonal rains. About 70 per cent of the state is dependent on agriculture, but when farmers are suffering, CM KCR does not seem to care and is busy eying politics at the national level, giving slogans like Abki Bar Kisan Sarkar.
