BJP Rajya Sabha MP Dr. K. Laxman has criticized Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for poor governance and failing to fulfill 420 election promises. He accused the Chief Minister of trying to distract people by blaming the BJP, the central government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and state BJP leaders.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Dr. Laxman demanded that the Chief Minister conduct a proper review of the Regional Ring Road (RRR) to ensure a scientific survey is carried out.

He alleged that the previous BRS government had changed the alignment of the northern part of the RRR. This, he claimed, caused losses to farmers while benefiting certain leaders and allowing them to make money through real estate. He also reminded the public that Congress leaders like Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and Rahul Gandhi had promised justice to affected farmers in Nalgonda and Bhongiri. These leaders even participated in protests against the BRS government.

Dr. Laxman also pointed out that Congress had organized a public meeting in Bhongiri, where Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra assured farmers that they would receive support once the party came to power. However, he claimed that many Congress Ministers, MLAs, MLCs, and MPs have now expressed their helplessness, saying that the Chief Minister alone is responsible for decisions regarding the RRR project.

Furthermore, he criticized the Congress government for not submitting a proper Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the RRR after changing the alignment of the southern part of the project. Despite this, he said, they were still pressuring the central government to call for tenders.
