A tragic incident occurred in Nagar Kurnool district when an under-construction chicken shed collapsed near Ayyappa Swamy Temple in the evening. Out of the ten people working there, four lost their lives on the spot, while four others were rushed to the district hospital with serious injuries by locals with the help of 108. The owner of the shed, Mallesh, and his daughter were among the deceased.

The identity of two other laborers who died is still unknown. Locals suspect that the collapse was caused by a lightning strike during heavy rain and strong winds. All the injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at the district hospital, and the incident has left a sense of sadness in Taduru mandal.
