Mellacheruvu (Suryapet): The Vepalamadaram Limestone Mine, owned by My Home Industries, has been honored with the 2024-25 excellence award in the ‘Environment’ category. This recognition was given by the Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FEMI).
During FEMI’s 59th General Meeting in New Delhi on Friday, B Suresh, the General Manager, and N Naresh, the Assistant General Manager for Mines, accepted the award for the company.
FEMI President Shantish, along with Vice President Sauvik Mujudhar and Secretary General Shri Pramod Tyagi, presented the award.
N Srinivasa Rao, the Unit Head at Mellacheruvu, explained that the Vepalamadaram Limestone Mine was acknowledged for following the environmental protection standards set by the Government of India. He praised all employees and workers at the unit for their efforts in achieving this national recognition.
