The 25% concession period for Layout Regularization Scheme (LRS) payments is set to end on March 31, leading to a surge in last-minute applications. While the scheme initially saw slow responses, the discount has driven thousands of applicants to complete payments in recent weeks. With the deadline approaching, citizens and public representatives are urging the government to extend the concession period until April 30.

    Demand for Deadline Extension Grows

Several MLAs have raised the issue in the Telangana Legislative Assembly, requesting an extension of the LRS payment deadline. Wanaparthy MLA Megha Reddy is among those who appealed for more time, highlighting the high number of pending applications. The government is reportedly considering the request and may announce an extension soon.
