Hyderabad: The BJP Hyderabad LS candidate K Madhavi Latha lodged a complaint with State Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj against AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi. In the complaint, she mentioned a video that showed Owaisi encouraging a butcher to continue his profession and expressing support for beef consumption. Latha believed that these comments could influence voters and sway the sentiments of a particular community.

She also mentioned that earlier, an FIR was filed against her after a video was circulated by AIMIM on social media. Latha claimed that this was a tactic to discredit her after she exposed irregular dealings by AIMIM leaders on a national TV channel. She accused AIMIM of trying to provoke the minority community with fake videos to hide their wrongdoings.
