District Collector Valluri Kranti and additional collector Cheerla Srinivas Sagar celebrated the 154th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on Monday at the Gandhi statue in Gadwal. They paid their respects to Mahatma Gandhi and emphasized the importance of solving problems peacefully and living in harmony with universal brotherhood. They also highlighted Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings on keeping our surroundings clean and green by planting saplings and protecting the environment.

Mahatma Gandhi always believed in the power of truth, as symbolized by his famous quote “Satya meva Jayate,” which means truth will always prevail. In addition, they also paid tribute to Lalbahadur Sastry on his birth anniversary at the Collectorate. Additional collector Cheerla Srinivas Sagar praised both leaders for their legendary services to society and urged the youth to follow their path to fulfill their aspirations.

The morning ceremony was attended by DPRO Chennamma, DRDA Umadevi, AO Bhadrappa, ED SC Corporation Ramesh Babu, RI Venkateswar Reddy, and other officials.
