Amjedullah Khan, the candidate from the MBT party, lost the Yakutpura Assembly seat by just 810 votes to AIMIM’s Jaffer Hussain Meraj. Amjedullah believes that there were many fake votes cast in the constituency and plans to reveal the truth soon.
Amjedullah accepted his defeat and acknowledged that the reality must be accepted. However, he stated that his party workers are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the polling centers in Yakutpura to investigate the alleged bogus voting.
Amjedullah accused the police of misleading his team and detaining him during the polling process. He also claimed that the information slips, which were supposed to be distributed to every person in the constituency, were not handed out properly and had the AIMIM party symbol, which is a violation.
Amjedullah assured that all his allegations are being verified and promised to reveal the truth behind AIMIM’s win within 48 hours. Jaffer Hussain secured 46,010 votes in Yakutpura, while Amjed Khan received 45,200 votes.
