Hyderabad recently hosted the successful National Millet Startup Summit 2025 over three days at Minerva Halls, Madhapur. The event attracted 120 participants from 18 different states. Millets the Best Food (MBF) organized the summit, showcasing more than 50 millet-based products through live demonstrations. Attendees received practical training in manufacturing, machinery, and business models, all supported by PMFME subsidies.
The summit included expert panels that offered valuable advice on health, legal, and financial matters. MBF also announced new products like Millet Tea and Millet Wine. In addition, 40 premium stores are set to open in Hyderabad to expand the millet retail market. This event highlighted the growth of millet-based entrepreneurship and innovation, supporting India’s International Year of Millets 2023 initiative.
