Milli Council Voices Concern Over Increasing Communal Incidents

Hyderabad: The All India Milli Council Telangana has condemned the recent desecration of the Muthyalamma Temple in Secunderabad. The Council expressed deep concern over the increasing number of communal incidents happening in the State.

In a statement, the Council urged the police to take quick action and ensure that the culprits are caught and punished. They stressed that the investigation should be swift and thorough. “The desecration of the Muthyalamma Temple is very troubling. We strongly condemn this act and stand with the affected community,” said Mufti Omar Abideen, the Council’s General Secretary.

The Council also pointed out another incident of communal violence that took place in Jainoor, Asifabad district, during the first week of September.

They explained that the people of Jainoor are still facing many difficulties, such as losing their jobs and dealing with an ongoing internet shutdown. The Council called for a return to normal life as soon as possible and urged all efforts to stop actions and messages that promote communal conflict.
