Nalgonda:
An awareness seminar about land issues was held in Chandampet, a town in the Nalgonda district. The event aimed to educate both the public and local officials about land policies and their responsibilities. However, the seminar took a serious turn when Telangana Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy criticized the attending officials.
Minister Ponguleti was clearly upset and expressed disappointment over the lack of knowledge some government officials had about land management. He said that such negligence and ignorance would not be accepted. “Officials who do not understand the basics of land management are a risk to good governance and development,” the Minister stated.
He warned that strict action would be taken against those who do not carry out their duties properly. The Minister also encouraged officials to gain more knowledge and work quickly to solve land disputes and other related problems that people face.
The seminar underlined the importance of clear and informed land administration, particularly in rural areas like Chandampet. Land disputes are common in these regions and often delay development and affect people’s livelihoods.
The event ended with a strong message from Minister Ponguleti about the need for accountability and better performance from government officials. He assured the public that the government is serious about solving land issues and ensuring justice for those affected.
