The resort will be located in Jadcherla, approximately 71 kilometers from Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, about a 60-minute drive. The property sits around 90 kilometers from Hyderabad city centre, roughly a one-and-a-half-hour drive. This positioning allows the resort to serve one of India’s fastest-growing metropolitan markets while offering guests a secluded, nature-focused environment along a reservoir.

Anantara Jadcherla Hyderabad Resort will feature 185 rooms starting at 48 square meters, along with 47 pool villas ranging from 90 to 280 square meters. Additionally, 50 branded residences will be developed adjacent to the resort, providing ownership opportunities for those seeking a permanent luxury address on the waterfront. The resort’s architectural design takes inspiration from the Kakatiya Dynasty, incorporating traditional stone construction and geometric patterns while adapting regional design elements for modern luxury hospitality.

Shashider Reddy Munugala, Founder and Chairman of Ashya Group, stated that the resort reflects a belief that hospitality should be led by nature and its surroundings. He noted that every element of the development is designed to draw guests closer to the culture and landscape of Telangana. William E Heinecke, Chairman and Founder of Minor International, the parent company of Minor Hotels, commented that the project’s waterfront setting and distinctive design vision enable proper immersion into the destination’s authentic character.

This signing represents the latest expansion of Minor Hotels in India. The group introduced the Anantara Hotels & Resorts brand to the country in 2025 with the opening of Anantara Jewel Bagh Jaipur Hotel. The company’s growing pipeline includes Anantara Zanti Coorg Resort, Anantara Kolkata Hotel, and Avani+ Sunray Beach Visakhapatnam Resort. Minor Hotels is working towards a target of 50 properties in India within the next decade.
