    National Road Safety Awareness Program Held in Kalvakurthy

    Kalvakurthy town recently observed National Road Safety Month with awareness programs in various schools. The event was organized by the Swami Vivekananda Seva Brunda to educate students about road safety. A key focus was on the dangers of minors riding two-wheelers to school.

    Seva Brunda President Shiva Kumar spoke at the event, highlighting that many students in grades 8, 9, and 10 are using motorbikes instead of bicycles. He pointed out that their high-speed driving increases the risk of accidents. He urged students to avoid such risky behavior and advised parents not to allow their children to take vehicles to school.

    As part of the program, a poster unveiling ceremony was held at the Kalvakurthy Police Station. Circle Inspector (CI) Nagarjuna took part in the event and warned that minors caught riding vehicles to school would face penalties. He emphasized that accidents can harm students’ promising futures and urged parents to be more cautious.

    The event was attended by Seva Brunda members Lakshmi Narasimha, Ajay, Praveen, Sai, Honorary Presidents Durga Prasad and Ravigaud, as well as students and teachers.
