Contestants of the 72nd Miss World Festival recently visited the historic Ramappa Temple in Telangana, offering a touching tribute to India’s deep cultural roots. The group, dressed in graceful sarees, explored the temple’s ancient grounds as part of a cultural immersion experience.

Located in Palampet village, the Ramappa Temple—also known as the Rudreshwara Temple—dates back to the 13th century. Built during the Kakatiya dynasty, it is famed for its unique architecture, intricate carvings, and bricks light enough to float on water. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the temple reflects the exceptional craftsmanship and spiritual heritage of Telangana.

During their visit, the international participants offered prayers and took time to absorb the peaceful atmosphere. Their presence, dressed in traditional Indian attire, created a striking image of global unity and respect for Indian tradition.
