Parkal MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy emphasized the importance of protecting government lands from encroachment. He inspected the Pocharam hillock land and stated that these lands should be used for local needs, and it is the responsibility of officials to safeguard them.
Revuri expressed his disappointment that Parkal constituency has remained underdeveloped due to the neglect of previous governments. He believed that Parkal had the potential to be developed like a district headquarters, but it has remained a village. During his election campaign, people shared their desire to see improvements in education, health, and employment opportunities in Parkal. Revuri assured them that he would work towards fulfilling these needs.
The MLA mentioned efforts to establish integrated food processing units in the constituency to support farmers and create job opportunities. He highlighted the requirement of at least 100 acres of land to attract private and government units. Revuri instructed Additional Collector Mahenderji to provide a survey report within a week.
In a separate event, Revuri paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 76th death anniversary. He praised Gandhi as a highly respected leader and the architect of India’s freedom struggle.
